Living in survival
Trauma shaped how I saw myself and the world. Getting through each day could leave little room to imagine what came next.
HONEST STORIES. ROOM TO BEGIN AGAIN.
I’m Angel. An author, mother, wife, survivor, and advocate. I share the difficult chapters of my life so that someone walking through their own can feel a little less alone.
From survival to accountability. From pain to purpose.

MY JOURNEY
I thought I was fighting to come home to a place. I was fighting to come home to myself.
My life has taken me through childhood trauma, a catastrophic car accident, permanent injuries, chronic pain, incarceration, separation from my children, and grief. There were seasons when survival took everything I had.
Rebuilding has meant facing both what happened to me and the choices I made. It has meant taking responsibility, learning to forgive myself, and choosing the patterns I want to change for my family.
Today, I’m an author, wife, mother, and advocate in British Columbia. My story is still unfolding. Through my books and conversations, I hope to create room for honesty, understanding, and the possibility of a different future.
Trauma shaped how I saw myself and the world. Getting through each day could leave little room to imagine what came next.
Injury, chronic pain, incarceration, and family separation changed the life I knew. I had to look honestly at my pain, my choices, and their consequences.
Accountability, faith, boundaries, writing, and small daily choices became part of finding my voice and breaking cycles.
